What can TextileLens help me understand?
It helps you explore fabric structure, likely fabric categories, possible machine families, and production routes using sample photos and any known details you add.
Do I need to know whether it is knit or woven?
No. Start with photos of your sample. Add physical observations or known specifications when you have them; leave uncertain details out.
Can a photo confirm fibre content or an exact machine?
No. Fibre composition, GSM, yarn specifications, and exact machine settings require additional evidence, measurements, testing, or mill verification. Reports are development guidance, not laboratory certificates.
What happens to my photos?
Photos selected for remote analysis are sent for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details about on-device storage, service providers, and your choices.
